Widespread thundershowers expected across Pakistan
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has stated that there is a possibility of rainfall with thunderstorms in various parts of the country today.
PMD has predicted rainfall in multiple areas of the country on Friday, while some areas will experience hot and humid weather.
The federal capital Islamabad and its surrounding areas are expected to experience hot and humid weather, however, there is a possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms with rainfall during the evening and night hours.
Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience hot and humid weather. There is a possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms with rainfall in some areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Buner, Mohmand, Khyber, Bajaur, and Malakand.
Most districts of Punjab are expected to experience hot and humid weather, while in some areas of Murree, Gilgit, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Dera Ghazi Khan, there is a possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms with rainfall.
Most districts of Sindh are also expected to experience hot and humid weather. There is a possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms with rainfall in some areas of Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Badin, Matiari, Sanghar, Khairpur, and their surrounding areas.

There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and rainfall in some areas of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Most districts of Balochistan are also expected to experience hot and humid weather, while in some areas of Zhob, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Qilla Saifullah, Khuzdar, and their surroundings, there is a possibility of heavy winds and thunderstorms with rainfall.
