Video of British police beating Pakistani boys goes viral

Five officers have been suspended after the incident

A disturbing video circulating on social media has sparked outrage after showing Manchester Airport police officers brutally assaulting two young British-Pakistani men.

The video depicts a police officer kicking a young Muslim man in the head while he is lying on the ground. The officer continues to kick the man as his mother desperately tries to intervene.

Following the video’s release, five officers involved in the incident have been suspended, and an investigation into the actions of seven officers is underway.

Greater Manchester Police issued a statement claiming that the incident began with an altercation between passengers at the airport. When police arrived, the suspect allegedly assaulted officers during an attempt to apprehend him.

Police claim that three officers were injured in the ensuing struggle, including a female officer who suffered a broken nose. Armed police arrested four individuals to regain control of the situation.

The airport police department is currently investigating the video of the alleged brutality.
