Earthquake shakes multiple districts in Balochistan
No casualties reported so far
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 and a depth of 35 kilometers shook the Turbat area of Balochistan’s Kech district on Wednesday.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 24 kilometers northeast of Turbat.
The tremors caused panic among residents, who rushed out of their homes reciting the Islamic declaration of faith (Kalma Tayyiba).
So far, there have been no reports of casualties or damage from the earthquake.
