The federal government has decided to form a joint investigation team (JIT) to probe the PTI’s alleged anti-state propaganda, sources said on Monday.

This decision comes after a raid conducted on the PTI Secretariat, during which Raoof Hasan, the PTI secretary information, was “arrested and handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency”.

He has been transferred to the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for further investigation.

Police have seized computers and other equipment from the party’s office during the raid, party leaders have claimed
