Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Omar Ayub Khan has claimed that a party legislator has been arrested while multiple others have been intimidated.

In a post on X, Khan said that party MNA Moazzam Jatoi was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Establishment in Punjab.

He added that intelligence agency officials were also involved in the arrest.

However, Khan clairifed that Jatoi has already submitted an affidavit affirming his party affiliation.

“The continued harrassement of PTI MNAs and MPAs is condemned. I had spoken to the Speaker and Secretary National Assembly earlier, and they expressed their inability to protect our Parliamentarians,” Khan wrote.

“In essence, the rule of the jungle prevails in Pakistan. We will fight against this tyranny inshallah,” he added.

He also posted a video of police outside Shaheryar Afridi’s house at 1:25 am.

In yet another post, Khan said that MNA Jamshed Dasti had narrowly avoided arrest where intelligence officials were accompanying police officials. He said that Dasti had already submitted an affidavit as well.

“We will approach the Supreme Court when it opens tomorrow and inform the judges of the contempt of court being done by the governments of Maryam Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif and especially the intelligence agencies,” he wrote.

41 PTI MNAs have been given 15 days to submit party affiliation statements by the Supreme Court. The action will allow the party to get reserved seats in the National Assembly.
