The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a plan to provide free solar panels to impoverished households in the province. The government is currently developing a strategy to implement the project.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Finance Advisor Muzammil Aslam revealed that the initiative aims to distribute one hundred thousand solar systems across the province.

The government is currently finalizing the implementation strategy.

Aslam further elaborated that the project could be executed through a bank or directly. The government is also actively searching for suitable vendors for the project.
