A Pakistani couple who were on the Hajj pilgrimage this year welcomed the birth of a baby boy during their trip. The Pakistani Ministry of Religious Affairs announced that the couple named their newborn son Muhammad.

The joyful event took place in the holy city of Madinah, where the Pakistani couple from the Balochistan region welcomed their newborn son, Arab News reported.

The Pakistani Hajj Medical Mission in Medina is ensuring that both the mother and baby are receiving the necessary medical care.

Officials from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj also visited the medical mission to celebrate the special occasion with the family.

The Pakistani religious affairs ministry stated that the Saudi officials warmly congratulated the parents and blessed the newborn, sharing in the family’s happiness over the birth.

“During the ceremony, gifts were given to baby Muhammad and his delighted parents, marking the beginning of a blessed journey for the infant.”

Abdul Wahab Soomro, a senior Pakistani Hajj official, expressed his best wishes to the family on the occasion.

“This joyful event will remain a cherished memory for the proud parents, connecting them deeply to the holy city of Madinah,” he was quoted as saying.

“Such moments reflect the unity, hope, and renewal that define this sacred journey for millions worldwide.”
