Aseefa Bhutto, daughter of former President Asif Ali Zardari and sister of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has announced that she will not accept any salary or allowances as a member of the National Assembly.

Writing to the National Assembly Secretariat, Aseefa stated that she will not accept any remuneration for her role as an elected representative.

She has requested that any salary or allowances that may have been issued be revoked.

Asifha Bhutto was elected unopposed in the by-election for the National Assembly seat NA-207 in Nawabshah, representing the Pakistan Peoples Party.
