Lahore Police have arrested a stepbrother in connection with the murder of a 13-year-old boy in the city’s Nishtar Colony.

The suspect, Ali Asghar, was apprehended in Khushab, two days after the incident.

Police investigations revealed that Asghar murdered his stepbrother, Hasib, with the motive of acquiring the family home.

The victim’s father, Ahmed, had reportedly registered the property in Hasibe’s name.

A murder case has been registered against Asghar based on a complaint filed by his father. The investigation is ongoing.
