Multiple checkpoints in Kaghan Valley, Mansehra, have led to hundreds of tourists being stranded after their vehicles were held up.

There was a surge of tourists at the checkpoints as Balakot Dam construction was taking place.

Since there was only a single route, it resulted in long lines of vehicles.

On this occasion, the tourists demanded that three lanes be created at the security points during the Eid holidays to better manage the traffic.

Due to the negligence of the National Highway Authority (NHA), the road was made one-way from Patres.
