Teacher suspected to be involved in damaging North Waziristan school
One of the teachers at the Middle School in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan has been accused of setting fire to the school last week, according to a police complaint.
The case was registered on the statement of Muhammad Noor, the watchman at the school, at the Razmak Police Station.
Five armed and masked individuals scaled the school’s boundary wall and entered the premises, it said and alleged that the suspects demanded the keys to the rooms and upon being refused, they broke the locks.
“The armed men then set fire to all the items stored in the rooms before fleeing the scene.”
The FIR also stated that the school teacher, Faridullah, had allegedly instructed the masked assailants to harass the students and create an atmosphere of fear.
