Two children died after eating contaminated noodles in Lahore’s Manawan area on Wednesday.

Authorities have started an investigation into the matter.

A police official said the mother of the children had purchased two packs of instant noodles from Baghbanpura bazaar.

The health condition of both children deteriorated soon after eating the noodles. They were rushed to a local hospital where doctors pronounced them dead, the police official said.
