Gold prices surge by Rs800 per tola in Pakistan
The per tola gold rate in Pakistan was increased by Rs800 to settle at Rs240,800 on Monday, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The final selling price of the 10-gram gold is Rs206,447, as it increased by Rs686.
According to the APGJSA, there was an increase of $10 in the international gold price during the day, reaching a$2,343 per ounce.
On May 25, it was announced that the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 205,761 after it decreased in price by Rs. 172.
For consecutively five days, the gold rates were sloping downwards.
