Tyrese Haliburton drills clutch half-court three to beat the buzzer against Celtics
Indiana Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton showcased his clutch shooting ability in a crucial playoff matchup against the Boston Celtics. With the first half winding down, Haliburton drained an unbelievable half-court three-pointer to tie the game at 64 apiece heading into halftime.
The Pacers and Celtics were engaged in a high-scoring affair, with Haliburton and Myles Turner leading the way for Indiana. Turner had already scored 18 points in the first half, taking advantage of the absence of Celtics’ big man Kristaps Porzingis.
Haliburton, who has emerged as a bona fide superstar this season, added 11 points and 4 assists before knocking down the clutch three to close out the second quarter. The Pacers are looking to steal homecourt advantage from the favored Celtics in this playoff series.
Former Warriors general manager Bob Myers praised Haliburton’s leadership and impact on the Pacers’ success. “Tyrese Haliburton, it’s not just how good he is, it’s how good a leader he is. All that stuff permeates throughout their whole team and organization,” Myers said.
