Turkish president likely to visit Pakistan this month

Pending agreements will be discussed among both countries

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is likely to visit Pakistan in a few days after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited him to visit the country, Business Recorder reported.

The news outlet while quoting sources within the commerce ministry said that the ministries concerned have started consultation to finalise the agenda to be discussed during the visit.

At least nine agreements, including protocol on the exchange of military and civilian personnel for social and cultural purposes and National Electric Power Regulatory Authority and Energy Market Regulatory Authority, are pending on Pakistan’s side.

The Turkish government will also put forward their businessmen facing challenges while working in Pakistan to resolve them.
