JazzCash collaborates with UAE’s du Pay for cross-border payments
Pakistani fintech organization JazzCash has partnered with Emirati financial services provider du Pay to facilitate cross-border payments.
This partnership is regarded as the first between a Pakistani fintech organization and du Pay to simplify payment transfers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan, the company said.
The CEO of Jazz, Aamir Ibrahim, emphasised the importance of remittances from Pakistani expats and their enduring impact on Pakistan’s economic stability.
Ibrahim stated the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for financial inclusion and underscored the role of the partnership with du Pay in simplifying payments for Pakistanis worldwide, ultimately contributing to economic growth.
The CEO of du pay, Fahad Al Hassawi, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasising the commitment to delivering exceptional services and solutions to customers.
Al Hassawi believes that the collaboration between du Pay and JazzCash will facilitate a streamlined customer experience.

The UAE has Pakistani expatriate community, emerging as the second-largest contributor of remittances to Pakistan after Saudi Arabia.
In March alone, remittances from the UAE to Pakistan amounted to a substantial $548 million.
