CJP Isa bars govt from personal publicity on development projects
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has delivered a significant verdict, restraining both the federal and provincial governments from engaging in personal publicity on government development projects.
The court emphasized that public tax money should not be utilized for personal publicity purposes.
Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, led a three-member bench that made these remarks during the hearing. He stated that public tax money should not be spent on personal publicity.

Furthermore, Chief Justice Faez Esa questioned why the Sindh government had not taken action against the excessive officers as the Punjab government had done.
The Supreme Court has also sought a response from the Sindh government regarding the appointment of additional officers.
The court expressed concern over the lack of action taken in Sindh, while the Punjab government had removed the excessive officers.
