A 7-year-old child tragically lost their life after being forgotten inside a car in Sharjah.

The incident occurred when an unlicensed driver, who had been hired by the child’s parents, left the child inside the vehicle parked outside the school for the entire day.

According to the Sharjah Police, the incident was reported on Tuesday afternoon.

The child, of Asian nationality, was left in the car while everyone else disembarked upon reaching the school.

The driver failed to check if anyone was still inside the vehicle and locked the door before leaving with her husband.

It was only at the end of the school day when students were preparing to return home that the child’s lifeless body was discovered inside the car.
