Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Mohammad Khan has expressed concerns over the lack of progress in handling the country’s affairs by the current government. He also advised his party to consider negotating with the government instead of the establishment.

Speaking to Shaukat Piracha on Aaj News, he emphasized that until political stability is achieved, the resolution of pressing issues will remain elusive.

Khan called on the ruling party to seriously consider the release of detained members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and engage in meaningful discussions to address the prevailing challenges. He stressed the importance of revisiting the roadmap for mediation, asserting that a return to dialogue is essential.

“We need a comprehensive roadmap for mediation. It is vital to facilitate the process and prepare a detailed plan for discussions,” Khan stated, highlighting the significance of a structured approach to negotiations.

Expressing his stance on the current government, he stated, “We do not consider this government legitimate, but we believe that negotiations should take place with them.” Khan further noted that while they view the ruling party as the “Farm 47 government,” they are willing to engage in talks with them.

Khan also suggested that if Rana Sahib presents his points, a committee should thoroughly review them, indicating a willingness to consider alternative perspectives. He posed the question of whether the government is open to the idea of a mandate recall, urging the ruling party to grant permission for discussions.

“We are ready to engage in dialogue if the PTI allows it,” Khan concluded, emphasizing that dialogue remains the key to resolving the ongoing issues.

In response to Rana Sanaullah’s invitation for negotiations, Khan said, “Rana Sahib should present his points, and the PTI core committee will review them.”

“If the PTI leadership approves, the matter can be resolved. But will the government be willing to accept a mandate recall? From our side, we are open to dialogue, but where will their approval come from?”
