‘Nothing wrong’: IHC disposes of Bushra’s petition over poisoning fear
Islamabad High Court has disposed of a petition by Bushra Begum filed over fear of poisoning in custody, with Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarking that there is nothing wrong with Bushra Bibi.

State Counsel Abdul Rahman told the court that Bushra Bibi’s tests were conducted by Shifa Hospital, the tests were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Asim Yusuf. Bushra Bibi is absolutely fine according to the report, he added.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb inquired if there was anything in the test reports indicating poisoning, to which the State Council replied that no effects of the poison were found.
The lawyer told the court that Bushra Bibi herself wants to appear in the court and file a brief.
The High Court disposed of the request for a medical check-up of PTI founder Bushra Bibi’s wife due to the fear of being poisoned.
