Six killed in deadly exchange of fire in Lakki Marwat

The clash took place during a musical event at a wedding ceremony

In a tragic incident of armed clash in the Ghazni area of Lakki Marwat district, six individuals lost their lives.

According to the police, the deceased include Zahidullah and Ehsanullah, who were also wanted in connection with various criminal activities.

Police reported that there was a longstanding enmity between Imran Khan and Ehsanullah, two rival groups in Lakki Marwat.

During a musical event on Tuesday night at a wedding ceremony, a confrontation erupted between the two groups, leading to a gunfire exchange in which six people lost their lives.

The incident triggered chaos and panic amongst the attendees, resulting in several people sustaining injuries while trying to escape the scene.

The deceased and injured were immediately transported to the District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.

The individuals who lost their lives in the shooting include Azir, Ehsan, Imran, Zahidullah, and Faizan.

They were residents of the villages of Bahram Khel and Teri Khel.

Zahidullah and Ehsanullah were also wanted individuals as per the police sources.
