Burewala teens shoot friend dead after playing PUBG

Both alleged culprits have been arrested

Police have arrested two young men in Burewala under the suspicion of killing their friend in cold blood after playing a video game.

Police arrested Luqman and Abdul Rehman on Monday after they allegedly killed their friend, Saqib Hussain, in Burewala’s village 213 EB.

The incident came to light when the police were told about a body found lying near the canal.

When police began investigating, they found evidence that two of Saqib’s friends had taken him to the canal and shot him in the head.

The boys played PUBG on their videos together and also made TikTok videos together.

Police also found a TikTok video recorded minutes before the murder took place.

The two friends allegedly involved in the murder have been arrested and Saqib’s body has been shifted for a post-mortem examination.

Police believe that playing the shooting gamed PUBG had psychologically affected the young men, which led to the crime.
