Former minorities minister Julius Salik has claimed that the ministry of minorities in Pakistan was created after the government took away all the properties, including Gordon College and FC College, belonging to the minority community.

“The Peoples Party government did not give us the minority ministry in gift”, he said speaking on Aaj News show Rubaroo.

Salik demanded that Pakistan must restore the federal minorities ministry which was abolished under the 18th Amendment.

He said provinces were unable to grant safety to the minorities.
