Three children killed in Waziristan IED blast
In a tragic incident, three children lost their lives, while one sustained severe injuries in a blast caused by an explosive device in the border area of Shawwal Alwarah between North Waziristan and South Waziristan.
According to the police, the children were on their way from their homes to the playing field to watch a volleyball match when the explosion occurred along the mountainous path.
As a result of the blast, Naqeebullah, Noor Muhammad, and Fakhrudin tragically lost their lives, while Hakimullah sustained critical injuries. The injured child was rescued by the young soldiers of the Pakistan Army.
Local sources have reported that the age of all the children ranged between 10 and 12 years.
