The prime suspect of two minors abducted a few days ago has turned out to be their relative, police have claimed. The children were released in the city’s Nagan Chowrangi area after a few hours of kidnapping.

SSP Zafar Changha told reporters that Ibrahim and Abdullah were abducted while they were going to school. The “mastermind” of the crime was named Wajahat who is a close relative of the two children.

Hamad, Usama, Hamdan alias Party, and Sultan alias Sonu were also part of the gang, Changha said and added that Wajahat thought that his uncle had a lot of money.

Police claimed that the two children were kept in Usama’s house. Five days ago, they were kidnapped for ransom in the city’s Samnabad. Four friends of Wajahat were also in the car.
