Kate Middleton emerges in first video since surgery
The saga over British Princess Kate Middleton’s disappearance from public view saw a new development after a video emerged of her walking in a market.
The video, filmed on Saturday, shows Kate with husband, Prince William, walking with shopping bags in their hands.
The couple had reportedly visited the Windsor Farm Shop, close to their Windsor home.
Both Kate and William were casually dressed, or ‘dressed down’ as described by many British outlets.
The video was seen by TMZ and The Sun, who then published it. The Sun also talked to eyewitnesses who recorded the video.
The Sun noted that other shoppers in the area looked unfazed by the appearance of the duke and duchess of Cambridge in their midst.
Kate spent two weeks in hospital in January after having surgery for a non-cancerous but unspecified condition.
She has not been seen in public since and Kensington Palace has said she is unlikely to return to official duties until after Easter, which falls at the end of this month.
