Accountability court suspends Nawaz Sharif sons, Hassan and Hussain, warrants

Nawaz Sharif's sons are planning to return on march 12

An accountability court in Islamabad suspended the perpetual warrants issued for the arrest of Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, sons of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, on Thursday.

Their lawyer had told the court that the both brothers were planning to arrive in Pakistan on March 12 and surrender to the court.

The court had issued perpetual warrants for them in the Avenfield case, in which Nawaz has already been acquitted.

Hassan and Hussain have already been granted relief in the al-Azizia and Flagship references.

The court had declared them absconders seven years ago after their repeated failure to appear in courts despite notices.
