A new spell of rain is predicted to enter Balochistan which could affect as many as 16 districts in the province.

The new rain system is predicted to enter Balochistan on Tuesday with Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Saifullah, Ziarat, Nokundi, Zhob, Kalat, Khuzdar, Zhaghi, Pajgur, Washuk, Dalbandin, Kharan and Gwadar likely to be affected.

Cold weather is predicted in the entire province. However, temperatures could be severely cold in the northern parts of the province.

The province is still dealing with the effects of torrential rains last week, especially in Gwadar where dozens of houses were destoryed and entire swathes of land were run over by water.

Meanwhile snowfall continues in the higher altitude areas of the country. The Karakoram Highway which was recently opened after three days of blockage has now been opened again.
