Sindh intermediate students to get additional marks
Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh Justice Maqbool Baqar (Retd) has directed the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) to give the students of intermediate additional marks in their exams.
The directives come after a fact-finding committee, formed to investigate Intermediate students’ low marks, submitted its report.
As per the directions, the students will be given 15 marks in Mathematics, 12 marks each in Economics, Physics, and Chemistry, and six marks each in Botany and Zoology.
The Sindh CM also approved the recommendation of the committee regarding the removal of the IT Sector’s Muhammad Saheer from his post.
