At least 12 people were killed and several injured in a blast that occurred near the JUI-F election office in Balochistan’s Qila Saifullah on Wednesday.

Police said that 13 people were also injured and were moved to the hospital. They went on to add that a large number of workers were present inside the office when the blast occurred.

According to police, several injured were in critical condition.

The blast was the second in two hours as the office of a political party in Pishin was rocked by an explosion, killing at least 17 people and injuring more than 30.

The law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area of PB-17, police said.
