Pakistan dispatches sixth batch of humanitarian assistance to Gaza
Pakistan on Tuesday dispatched the sixth batch of humanitarian assistance for the people of Gaza from Karachi.
The relief goods were dispatched from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport a special flight that would reach Egypt with the relief supplies where the Pakistani ambassador would receive the goods.
The 100-tonnes shipment consisted of essential items including 30 tonnes of warm tents and blankets, and 70 tonnes of medical aids along with foodstuff.
After receiving the relief supplies, the humanitarian assistance would be sent to the besieged Gaza Strip for distribution.
Palestinian ambassador to Pakistan, officials of the National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of External Affairs, and armed forces attended the departure ceremony at Karachi airport.
Pakistan has dispatched a total of 230 tonnes of relief goods to the people of Gaza.
