PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has claimed that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif seemed ‘too cowardly’ to face him in debate before the general elections, which are scheduled to take place on February 8.

“Another day goes by and Nawaz Sharif has still refused to accept our invitation to have a live debate of PM candidates before the elections on February 8th,” he said in a post on X on Tuesday.

Last week, the PPP chairman challenged his opponent in the polls to a televised debate, providing voters with crucial insights into their plans.

But PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif responded to the invitation. He was of the view that it would have been better if Bilawal had invited Nawaz Sharif to inspect Sindh instead of debate.

In reaction, Bilawal offered three venues to Sharif for a debate. The PPP chairman said he was ready for debate in Gambat, Thar, Karachi, and anywhere the former prime minister requested.

“It seems the wanna be 4th time PM is too cowardly to face me in a debate and allow the people of Pakistan an opportunity to make an informed choice on Election Day,” he said on Tuesday.
