Former Pakistani captain Babar Azam lost his temper on the pitch when he was performing for Rangpur Riders in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024, against Durdanto Dhaka.

A video of a match that went viral on social media social media shows Babar in an angry mood, aggressively talking with wicketkeeper Irfan Sukkur.

The exchange the umpire to intervene to calm him down, but he remained visibly upset with the wicketkeeper.

However, the umpire managed to end the clash but Babar’s actions did not rescue him from lib reading.

Fans expressed surprise on seeing heated side of Babar. The wikcetkeeper complained that he had used inappropriate language, to which Babar apparently replied that he was talking to himself.

Batting first, the Riders posted a score of 183 for the loss of eight wickets and in reply, Dhaka were bowled out for 104 in 16.3 overs. Babar won the Player of the Match award for his performance.
