Caretaker govt appoints Ahmed Ishaque Jehangir as DG FIA
Former DG Mohsin Butt had retired on Jan 1
The caretaker government notified the appointment of Ahmed Ishaque Jehangir as the director general of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday.
The establishment division issued the notification after the caretaker government approved Jehangir’s appointment. A Grade-21 officer, he was already serving in the FIA.
The seat was vacant after former DG FIA Mohsin Butt retired on January 1.
