Hollywood actor Kumail Nanjiani is seen explaining cricket to his American wife Emily V Gordon in a new video he shared on X on Monday.

“This is the full video of Emily secretly taping me while I tried to teach her cricket,” he said in a post with a 22-second video.

The Pakistani-American stand-up comedian is seen explaining to her wife the score, number of people out, and the number of runs needed to win the match.

The couple was watching the cricket match between Pakistan and New Zealand. They were watching the final contest of the five-match T20 series on Sunday.

Pakistan’s spinners ran through New Zealand to pick up a consolation 42-run win in the fifth and final Twenty20 international on Sunday and avoid a series clean sweep.

The tourists lost the five-match series 4-1 but it ended on a positive note as they dismissed the Black Caps for a paltry 92 in defence of 134-8.
