Days after Shoaib Malik announced tying the knot with actress Sana Javed, a journalist has claimed that the two were dating before the latter divorced Umair Jaiswal.

“Sana divorced singer Jaiswal around three months before marrying Shoaib. It is very painful and depressing for the singer,” Naeem Hanif, a senior journalist said.

Malik announced on January 20 that he tied the knot with the actress by sharing a picture on his X and Instagram handle.

According to him, Malik and Javed first met on Fahad Mustafa’s reality show and remained in contact even after the show ended.

Hanif claimed that the former captain of Pakistan cricket team conditioned his participation in the show with Javed’s joining the.

Quoting his sources, the journalist claimed that the actress was the sole reason due to which Mirza and Malik clashed.

He went on to add that Indian tennis star had also called Malik’s family in Dubai to resolve the issue, however, Malik was not interested in continuing his marriage with Mirza.

Hanif alleged that Mirza also lost interest in the cricketer after his extra-marital affairs, saying that Malik’s family did not want his marriage with the tennis star to end and are with Mirza.

On the actress’s part, he said Javed was married to Umair Jaiswal when the cricketers entered her life.
