Man found hanging dead from bridge in Islamabad

Islamabad’s citizens woke up on Monday morning to the gruesome scene of a dead body hanging from a bridge.

The body was found hanging from a pedestrian bridge in sector I-9 on Monday. The sight of the body hanging amid dense fog made for a grim scene.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad police said that the cause of the death appeared to be a case of suicide.

The deceased was reportedly suffering from a mental disorder, according to police as they said that investigation was being carried out with the help of the relatives of the victims.

According to sources, the man was identified as Umar Shaham, a 30-year-old resident of sector I-9/1.

After the videos of the incident went viral on social media, Police Station Aabpara launched an investigation into the matter while the possibility of suicide was also being looked into.
