Rumours were once again spreading about Indian tennis star Sania Mirza’s divorce from Shoaib Malik after she shared a cryptic quote post on her Instagram stories, India Today reported.

An excerpt from the post reads, “Marriage is hard. Divorce is hard” which further added fuel to the ongoing rumours surrounding her relationship with Malik.

“Obesity is hard. Being fit is hard. Choose your hard. Being in debt is hard. Being financially disciplined is hard. Choose your hard. Communication is hard. Not communicating is hard. Choose your hard. Life will never be easy. It will always be hard. But we can choose our hard. Pick wisely,” reads the quote that Mirza shared on her Instagram stories.

It is pertinent to mention that Mirza has also deleted most of her recent pictures with her husband from her Instagram.

“When something disturbs the peace of your heart, let it go,” was the caption of another post that Sania shared on January 8.

The separation rumours between the two made headlines in late 2022 and fans have been speculating about their relationship.

However, the discussion surrounding their marriage was put to rest for a brief period after the couple shot together for the show, ‘The Mirza Malik Show’, and Malik expressed that he missed his wife during Eid.

The rumours resurfaced again in 2023 when the former Pakistan cricket team captain updated his Instagram bio and removed the part that read: “Husband to a Superwoman @mirzasaniar.”

Mirza and Malik got married in 2010 and have a son Izhan Mirza Malik.
