UK Graduate visa that could help you get permanent residence
The United Kingdom allows foreigners to stay in the country despite not having a work offer from a UK employer. However, they must have a Graduate visa which will allow them to live in the UK for at least two years.
Those wanting to settle in the country will have to apply for the UK Graduate route and then they can look for work ultimately becoming a permanent resident of the UK.
The route is an unsponsored route meaning that applicants do not need a job offer to apply while they will also be able to work flexibly and change jobs.
The international students who received their degree from a college or university in the UK can live in the country for two years.
Eligible applicants for the Graduate visa must be in the UK, have a Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa and studied a UK bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree or other eligible course for a minimum period of time with your Student visa or Tier 4 (General) student visa.
The will also need their education provider such as university or college to tell the Home Office about your successful completion of their course.
While Graduate visa cannot be extended, applicants can switch to a different visa such as a Skilled Worker visa after getting a work offer from an employer
The visa application fee is priced at £822 while applicants will have to pay the healthcare surcharge of £624 for each year’s stay in the UK.
