Balochistan receives snowfall as cold to persist across the country
The Pakistan Meteorologist Department (PMD) said on Monday that Balochistan is witnessing rain and snowfall due to the arrival of the new system from Afghanistan.
According to the forecast, under the influence of this system, the temperature is expected to decline further, and the speed of Siberian winds will potentially increase.
The impacts of snowfall will also be experienced in Karachi where Siberian winds will cause the mercury to drop to 9 degrees Celsius.
The new winter wave would enter Karachi from today (Monday) where the minimum temperature in the morning has been recorded at 13.5 degrees Celsius.
