“After fire exchange, all three terrorists were sent to hell. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists,” it added.
In another incident, a security forces personnel was martyred when terrorists from Afghanistan opened fire on a Pakistani Border Post in Spinwam area of North Waziristan District.
“Own troops responded in a befitting manner causing considerable losses to the terrorists. However, during the exchange of fire, Naik Abdul Rauf (age: 31 years, resident of: District Rahim Yar Khan), having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat,” the ISPR said.
According to ISPR, Pakistan has consistently been asking the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border.
“Interim Afghan Government is expected to fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for perpetuating acts of terrorism against Pakistan,” it stated.
