At least five people died and eight got injured after a high-speed bus overturned in the Dukki area of Quetta on Thursday.

The house station officer of the area said that the incident was an aftermath of speeding which overturned the bus carrying guests (Barati) and going to Barkhan with the groom.

According to the police the accident claimed the lives of five including two women and three children aged 3 to 10 years while leaving eight wounded.

Following the incident, the local authorities and rescue rushed the victims to the hospital after turning them out from the wreckage of the bus.
