PTI holds online power show
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) held its first-ever virtual political gathering with its followers and some leaders of PTI who have been out of the scene for a long time.
Senator Azam Khan Swati said in his speech that on the instructions of Imran Khan, he has been living a secret life for the past seven months.
Hammad Azhar also addressed this meeting and said that the economy was developing during the time of Imran Khan, but the economic conditions of Pakistan worsened due to the change of government.
PTI’s social media team was managing this online meeting which was attended by 40 thousand participants on the platform ‘X’ alone.
On Sunday evening, Internet services were partially down in the country.
Meanwhile, Netblocks, an independent observer, confirmed that there was ‘national-scale’ disruption to platforms including YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook.
The observer, who has commented on internet issues in Gaza and Ukraine in recent days, added that the disruptions came just ahead of a ‘virtual gathering’ by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Monis Elahi, Ali Muhammad Khan, Atif Khan, Zartaj Gul, and foreign-based Shehbaz Gill and Zulfi Bukhari have also addressed the rally.
