PSX closes in a green zone as KSE-100 adds 679 points
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recorded a positive session on Friday amid improved investors’ sentiments.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index gained 679.84 points or 1.04% to settle at 66,130.02 level at the closing of the market on the last trading day of the week.
The KSE-30 Index gained 176.32 points or 0.81% to reach 22,043.84 levels at the closing of the trading session.
The Pakistani rupee gained 25 paisas against the dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market on Friday.
The greenback was trading at Rs283.26 at the closing of the market, as against the closing of Rs283.51 the previous day.
In the open market, the buying of the dollar was recorded at Rs283.4 while it was quoted at 286.2 for selling at the time of filing the story.
