Junaid Jamshed’s 7th death anniversary being observed today
Popular Pakistani singer-turned-religious scholar Junaid Jamshed’s 7th death anniversary is being observed today.
Junaid Jamshed died on this day in 2016, along with his wife and 45 others in a horrible plane crash near Havelian.
He was born in Karachi on 3rd September 1964. He had briefly worked as a civilian contractor and engineer for the Pakistan Air Force before turning into a singer, His father Jamshed Akber Khan was a retired Group Captain in the Pakistan Air Force
In 2004, Jamshed officially renounced music and engineering after announcing to devote his life to Islam.

Junaid was a lead singer of Band Vital Signs’ which gained immense popularity during the 80s, with songs like ‘Aitebaar’, ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Dil Ki Baat’ Dil Dil Pakistan.
