Former finance minister and PML-N leader Miftah Ismail denied on Monday that he is joining the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Earlier, it was reported in media that the former minister is joining PPP.

Taking on X, Miftah Ismail termed the news of his joining the PPP as fake and said that there is no truth in this news.

Former finance minister Miftah Ismail wrote, “Read in the newspaper today and yesterday a TV report said that I am going to join the PPP, this news is not true.”

It may be recalled that sources in the PPP had claimed on Sunday that issues are going to be settled with former PML-N leader and Miftah Ismail will formally announce his joining the PPP soon.
