MQMP likely to meet PML-N leaders today
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) delegation to meet Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders in Islamabad today.
According to the sources, the meeting is going to be held in the capital and MQM-P will present a constitutional amendment charter to PMLN.
The MQM will urge PML-N to provide constitutional protection to the amendments related to local governments.
Consultations with other parties, including seat adjustment in Sindh, will also be discussed.
Alliances with other political parties, joint rallies, and election campaigns will also be taken up in the meeting.
PMLN and the MQMP decided that they would form an electoral alliance to contest the next general elections.
The decision came after a delegation of MQM-P met PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and other party leaders. The delegation consisted of Mustafa Kamal and Farooq Sattar and was headed by convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

MQM had won 17 out of 20 seats in Karachi in the 2013 election and the party hoped to return to the same position in 2024.
