Protestors surrounded a vehicle carrying former First Lady Bushra Begum outside Adiala Jail and raised slogans against her on Monday.

Bushra was exiting the jail after a hearing of the £190 million scandal against Imran Khan which was held inside the jail compund.

The men raised slogans and demanded action against her in the illegal nikkah case.

A video of the incident showed a handful of men surrounding the black vehicle which was briefly stopped but eventually managed to speed away.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Begum are accused of taking bribes to reach a settlement with property tycoon Malik Riaz in the Al-Qadir Trust case which was later renamed the £190 million case.

Bushra’s former husband Khawar Maneka recently claimed in an interview that she had married Khan before her iddat (waiting period) was over.

Soon after the interview he filed a case against Bushra and Imran over their ‘un-Islamic’ marriage.
