Gold prices rose in Pakistan on Friday after a massive spike in international market prices.

The price of gold rose by Rs2,200 to reach Rs216,500 per tola.

The price per 10-gram for the precious metal also increased by Rs1,886 to reach Rs185,614.

The price increase comes soon after a massive hike in the international market where gold prices increased by $20 to reach $2,006 per ounce.
