A man who had recently returned to Pakistan from Greece after being accused of murder was gunned down in Wazirabad.

The incident happened in Wazirabad’s Jinnah colony where the man, identified as Bilal Warraich, was sitting in a rickshaw.

CCTV footage of the incident showed six men dismounting from a white car and a motorcycle, surrounding the rickshaw and opening fire ultimately killing Warraich.

Police said that the men had identified Warraich before shooting.

Sources said that Bilal Warraich had came to Pakistan from Greece after allegedly committing a murder and his killing could also be an extension of the same matter.

City Police Station has started an investigation into the matter including an analysis of the CCTV footage. Warraich’s body has been shifted to Wazirabad’s city hospital for a post-mortem examination.
